Anal plugs

Back

Anal plugs come in different sizes, shapes and materials, from slim beginner models to training sets with several sizes. Look for a body-friendly shape and a wide flared base. Small models are a good start because you set your own pace. Tips on size, material and use are in the anal toys beginner’s guide.

▾ Buying guide and FAQ

What to look for in anal plugs

A wide base, an easy-to-clean material and a size you feel comfortable with are key. Length and diameter are listed on the product page. Always use enough lubricant. Suitable products are in anal lubricants and relax.

Which size suits beginners?

Many start with a small, slim model and move up at their own pace. Sets with several sizes are practical because you can change step by step.

Why is the base so important?

The wide base acts as a stopper. For anal use, choose only toys with a sufficiently wide base or stopper.

What are the alternatives?

Besides plugs you will find anal beads, anal dildos and anal vibrators. Care tips are in the guide How to clean and care for sex toys.
